Student Success Grants Impact

The SMSU Student Success Grants assists students who are experiencing temporary financial hardships. As a result of COVID-19, many more students are becoming susceptible to unexpected financial challenges. The Student Success Grants are a financial resource that can help these students during this unprecedented time with non-university related hardships, including transportation expenses, medical bills, etc, allowing them to continue their education at SMSU. Your Donation

100% of your donation goes to the Student Success Grants which is then rewarded directly to the student. Each student that is awarded this grant receives $500.

Scholarships DO make a difference!

Scholarships for SMSU students are critical. Especially for students of diverse and multicultural backgrounds. Often, a scholarship is the difference between a student attending SMSU or choosing another college. Students who receive a SMSU Foundation scholarship graduate at a 17% higher rate and have a 13% higher retention rate than those who do not receive a scholarship.
